Many people come in with pain, tightness, limited movement, poor posture, stress, or chronic discomfort. Often, they believe the pain is only where they feel it. In reality, the body functions as one interconnected system.

Before beginning treatment, I take time to assess how the body is moving, compensating, and adapting. The goal is not simply to chase symptoms—it's to identify the root cause.

Looking Beneath the Pain

When I evaluate a client, I look at:

  • Postural alignment
  • Shoulder and hip balance
  • Spinal positioning
  • Muscle tension patterns
  • Range of motion
  • Fascial restrictions
  • Movement compensations
  • Lifestyle and daily habits

A tight neck may actually be connected to hip dysfunction.

Low back discomfort may originate from restricted movement in the feet, knees, or pelvis.

Shoulder pain may be influenced by posture, breathing patterns, or muscular imbalances throughout the body.

Everything is connected.

The Body Tells a Story

Using anatomy education and hands-on assessment, I help clients understand what their body is communicating.

The spine acts as the body's central support system.

The muscles provide movement and stability.

The fascia connects everything together.

The nervous system influences how the body responds to stress, injury, and recovery.

When one area becomes restricted, another area often compensates.

Over time, these compensation patterns can lead to:
